We provide guidance in helping families navigate the college recruiting process. While many of our players gain exposure through regional showcase events and travel baseball tournaments, they also require an education in how to stand out off the field. By maintaining high academic standards, effectively introducing themselves to college coaches, and understanding their personal timelines, players will learn to take ownership of their very own journey.

Darren Gurney
Coach Gurney has been coaching NCAA and high school baseball since 1992. With coaching experience at both the Division I and Division III collegiate levels, he is well versed in player development, as well as proper protocols for recruitment. Coach Gurney founded Ultimate College Prep and Rising Star Baseball Camp which have produced more than 102 players having committed to play college baseball.

Joel Perez
Joel Perez is the father of three boys who received multiple NCAA offers and all played Division I college baseball. For the past several years, he has also guided dozens of travel baseball players through the college recruiting process. In turn, Joel is proficient in meeting players wherever they are along their unique paths in order to help them find an appropriate school to play college baseball.
